Welcome to my website, I’m glad you’ve found your way here.
I’m Debbie, an advanced EFT practitioner and hypnotherapist. I first discovered hypnotherapy and EFT (tapping) over 12 years ago, after seeking help for a weight issue. I became so intrigued that I decided to undertake training myself. It’s true to say that I’ve never stopped exploring and learning since!
Life can be challenging for everyone (me included!!) and from time to time we all need a little help. It’s often not easy, but it’s an incredible strength, to be able to ask for and accept the help we need.
People seek me out to help them with a variety of physical or emotional challenges. Some people may be looking for relief from physical symptoms for example, IBS or long term pain, others may need emotional support with anxiety, grief, sadness or stress related issues, wanting to feel calmer and gain clarity in their lives. Other clients are on a journey of self-discovery and improvement, seeking to understand themselves better and choosing to address those fears or beliefs that hold them back.
My aim is to work with you in the most gentle way possible. Sometimes that means the session will feel like an honest chat or a walk side by side whilst putting life to rights. Other times, especially if you have been over the same ground again and again or find it uncomfortable to talk openly, we can work just as effectively using images, metaphor or body sensations in order to make the process easier and more comfortable. It’s true sometimes there are tears when releasing old emotions but sometimes there’s humour and laughter too.
It’s important to find a therapist you are comfortable with, that’s why I encourage everyone to have a chat with me before we arrange an appointment. This gives you an opportunity to discuss your needs, ask questions and helps you decide whether you’d be happy for us to work together.
